Bryan College is Homeschooler
Friendly!
QUICK FACTS
Our Academics. At Bryan,
you’ll have 16 majors with 36 distinct options to choose from--all from the
viewpoint of a Biblical worldview. We’re home to both the Center for Law and
American Government (which offers a Christian perspective on politics) and
the Center for Origins Research and Education.
Our Students.
Our students come from more than 30 states and six
countries. Average ACT: 23. Average GPA: 3.59. Most come from private or
Christian high schools. Many are home schooled (27 percent of our incoming
class, in fact). Some will tour with the Bryan College Chorale to England,
France, and Belgium. Others will go as far away as Africa to be part of a
Youth for Christ team.
Our Ministry. At Bryan, chapel is a
major part of campus life. In fact, it’s required. (And you’ll love it!)
Through PCI (Practical Christian Involvement), nearly 50 percent of Bryan
students volunteer their time in off-campus ministry activities.
Our Campus. Being just minutes from
the foothills of the Smoky Mountains means plenty of chances for canoeing,
kayaking, rappelling, spelunking, white-water rafting, rock climbing, and
hiking in the
Tennessee mountain countryside.
Our Rankings. U.S.News&World Report
has named us one of the best colleges in the South for 11 consecutive
years. Little wonder then that 90 percent of our students enter their first
(or second) choice of occupation right after graduation. Nearly 50 percent
go into business and the professions. Another 30 percent become teachers.
Many study at leading institutions such as Harvard, Vanderbilt, and Texas
A&M.
