Capitol City Careers offers comprehensive and intensive career training,
designed to provide our graduates with the credentials needed to begin a new
and exciting career.
The philosophy of Capitol City Careers is to provide a unique, personalized
learning environment, which encourages successful performance and program
completion by each student. All programs are designed to prepare our students
to meet tomorrow’s challenges today.
Class
Size
The teacher/student ratio will be a maximum of 30 students to 1
instructor in a lecture class, or in a typing and shorthand lab, and a maximum
ratio of 20 students to 1 instructor in a computer lab class.
Placement
Upon graduation, job placement assistance is available to all
students at no additional cost. Students are assisted with resume preparation,
interviewing techniques and employment opportunities.
While Capitol City
Careers is eager to assist graduates in finding rewarding job opportunities,
neither the school nor any staff member can guarantee employment. While many
employers come to the school in search of qualified job applicants, the school
also actively solicits employers for graduate placement. An updated assessment
of career opportunities is maintained in the Career Development Office.
In addition to graduate
job placement assistance, the Career Development Office will also assist
students who require part-time employment while attending school.
