| At Community College of Philadelphia, the top priority is
student success. Our programs of study provide a solid foundation for
college transfer, employment, and lifelong learning. Our motto,
Education for a Changing World, highlights our aim of helping students
meet the challenges of rapid changes in technology, society, and the
workplace.
Although we are a large institution (over 40,000 students enroll each
year), our classes are small. This allows each student to receive
personal attention. Dedicated faculty and staff help students explore
options, achieve goals, and realize their full potential. We offer
courses at our Main Campus near Center City; Regional Centers in
Northeast, Northwest, and West Philadelphia; and many other convenient
locations. With sites throughout Philadelphia, we bring education close
to you and your community. You can even learn at home with Internet
courses or television courses on channel 53 (the College's television
station) and WHYY-TV 12.
College offerings include associate degree and certificate programs,
non-credit courses, and contracted education and training programs. Our
partnerships with communities, business and industry, government, and
other colleges and universities enable us to provide educational
opportunities that enrich lives and contribute to the region's economic
development.
Note: On-site orientation for distance learning is
required.
