Genesee Community
College offers a variety of educational options in many
fields of study:
* Transfer programs recognized at colleges and
universities
nationwide - typically 2 years at Genesee leading to an Associate's
degree, then two more years leading to a bachelor's degree in a field of
choice
* Career programs - typically two-years of
study leading to a
career-qualifying Associate's degree
* Certificate programs - typically one year of
training leading to
certification in job-specific skill areas
Genesee's spacious Batavia campus includes a modern, newly renovated
library, and a new 42,000 square foot technology building featuring
state-of-the-art computers, digital production facilities, and
videoconferencing capabilities in its many classrooms and laboratories.
The Genesee Center for the Arts offers a series of student-based and
professional productions open to the public. Genesee's students can take
advantage of a wide variety of social, academic, athletic and cultural
activities. On-campus student housing is available.
