As a private, residential, liberal arts institution, Bethany
currently
offers a variety of majors and pre-professional programs. All of
Bethany's
430 students are taught by full college professors, not teaching
assistants.
Over 92% of the students receive some level of financial aid to
attend BLC,
which has the lowest cost of a private liberal arts college in
Minnesota.
Owned and operated by the Evangelical Lutheran Synod, Bethany
students live
and study on a campus where all 13 buildings are either brand
new or have
been completely renovated in the past 11 years. Among the newest
facilities
are a $12.5-million Hall of Science and Mathematics, Memorial
Library, and
Communication Center with a digital television broadcast studio.
