In its 146-year history the University of Evansville has
maintained a rich tradition of academic excellence. Our curriculum is
based in the traditional arts and sciences, equipping students with
knowledge that is both meaningful and relevant. Students develop
essential skills in communication, critical thinking and creative
thinking for an educational experience that will prepare them for future
success. Meeting the needs of the students and the community through teaching, scholarship, and service has long been a responsibility embraced by UE professors. Teaching is their primary focus - there are no teaching assistants at UE. You and your education are top priority. Our professors' scholarly activities and research, some of which might include you, serve to complement their role as your educator. It is in this spirit that I invite you to join us at the University of Evansville. Stephen G. Greiner Vice President for Academic Affairs
