The curriculum of every student educated at home has been
crafted in some way or in many ways unlike anyone else's. This means each home educated
student presents an application for admission unlike anyone else's. But Thomas Aquinas
College is also unique, with a curriculum and a community life distinctly different from
other colleges. The primary work of Thomas Aquinas College is to provide students with a
Catholic liberal education based upon the Great Books. The "Great Books" are the
primary sources of the intellectual tradition of western Civilization and, more important,
of Civilization's greatest legacy: wisdom.
