With the academic program at the center of Huntingdon College's mission, other co-curricular programs, activities, and services of the college serve to deepen and enrich the student's educational experience. Huntingdon College maintains a variety of services and programs which are designed to augment, facilitate, and broaden the academic program of the college. Intramural and intercollegiate sports programs for women and men provide for the development of athletic excellence. Students have the opportunity to integrate classroom knowledge into their daily living, to test beliefs and assumptions, and to refine skills for successful living.

To ensure effective instruction, Huntingdon chooses faculty members who are both well-prepared professionally and dedicated to student development. Through small classes, the College allows personal contact with faculty members, encouraging students to learn directly from the faculty as well as from each other. Through selective recruitment and admissions procedures, the College seeks students who demonstrate the aptitude, preparation and motivation requisite for success in a competitive academic environment, as well as in graduate education, careers and service.
